Evening star

The bearish mirror of the morning star — a large bullish candle, a small indecisive one, then a large bearish candle, at the top of an advance.

The bearish mirror of the morning star, under the same conditions: it needs a prior advance to reverse, and the third candle should close well into the first.

Where that third candle closes is the tell. A marginal close is much weaker evidence than one erasing most of the first candle.
